Education Is Moving. So Should the Vehicles Behind It.

A working college is always moving.

From estates teams to supplies, tools and materials travelling between buildings, the journeys behind campus life are constant — and many of them do not need a conventional van.

That was the thinking behind our MEV XL demonstration at Halesowen College.

With several campuses and a commitment to embedding greener ways of working across its estate, the College provided a setting to show where compact electric transport can make a practical difference locally.

The MEV XL is built for these everyday jobs. Fully electric, easy to manoeuvre and sized for efficient site-based work, it gives teams a capable alternative for short journeys, maintenance tasks, deliveries and facilities support.

But this demonstration was about more than vehicle specifications.

Further education plays a vital role in preparing people for industries being reshaped by electrification and environmental technology. Bringing the MEV XL onto campus puts that transition into something tangible: a working electric vehicle designed for operational use.

Thank you to the team at Halesowen College for the welcome and the opportunity to demonstrate what MEV can do.

Cleaner transport does not have to mean bigger change.

Sometimes, it starts with choosing the right vehicle for the job.
