Oxford Brookes University recently welcomed the MEV XL for a hands-on demonstration, giving the team the opportunity to explore how compact electric utility vehicles could support everyday campus operations.

University estates and facilities teams often manage a wide range of tasks across busy sites, from maintenance and internal deliveries to grounds work, equipment transport and general operational support. The MEV XL is designed with exactly these kinds of duties in mind, combining practical load capacity with a compact footprint that makes it easy to manoeuvre around campuses, pedestrian areas and tighter working environments.

During the demonstration, the Oxford Brookes team had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle, experience its usability firsthand and consider where it could fit within their existing operational requirements.

With zero tailpipe emissions, quiet operation and lower running costs compared with many conventional vehicles, the MEV XL offers organisations a practical route towards cleaner and more efficient day-to-day transport.

The latest MEV XL also provides 50% more capacity and 50% more range, creating greater flexibility for teams that need a capable working vehicle without the size and operating demands of a traditional van.

A big thank you to everyone at Oxford Brookes University who took the time to join the demonstration, explore the vehicle and share their feedback.

We always enjoy seeing how different organisations could put the MEV XL to work, and university campuses continue to be an excellent environment for demonstrating its versatility.
